Dendrofil for Yggdrasil Lyrics. Nattesferd is the third studio album by Norwegian heavy metal band Kvelertak. It was released on May 13, 2016 on Roadrunner Records. Nattesferd Q&A. Nattesferd actually covers a lot more ground than Kvelertak's '80s ancestors did, but elements that might otherwise oppose one another blend into the experience seamlessly. Kvelertak's fellow revivalists the Hellacopters, Bonded By Blood, The Sword, and pretty much any Sabbath-mimicking fuzz-rock band can be so adamant about faithful replication that listening to them can feel suffocating. Both Kvelertak's 2010 self-titled debut and 2013's sophomore album Meir benefited from the touch of Converge guitaristproducer Kurt Ballou, who, no surprise, captured the scratchy edges of the band's sound. Like 2013's nearly flawless Meir, the punk-infused Nattesferd has more in common with hardcore than traditional death metal, but Kvelertak are astute scholars of the dark arts, and their love for the genre is apparent in every larynx-dissolving howl, double-kick drum volley, and AOR hard rock pick slide

Good album. Cool blue vinyl, however sound feels flat: Reminds me of digital clipping.
