Years Volume 2. Лейбл: Ace CH 281. A real rarity on this album is the psychedelic tinged 'You're Just What I Was Looking For Today' from 1967 whisch wasn't released anywhere until 1989 on this album. A very interesting compilation indeed. Ответить Уведомлять о новых ответах 1 Helpful. The Everly Brothers is the 1958 eponymous debut album of close harmony rock and roll duo the Everly Brothers. The album peaked at No. 16 on Billboard's pop albums chart and launched three very successful singles. Originally on the Cadence label, CLP-3003, the album was re-released on LP in 1988 by EMI and on CD in 2000 by Emporio Records. It was re-released again in 2009 on 180-gram vinyl by Doxy music. Tracks like Nancy's Minuet 1963, a great Don Everly original and one of their best paeans to lovelorn melancholia, and You're the One I Love 1964, a fine, brooding mid-tempo rocker, stand with their very best work. Only three of these appear on the '60s Everlys anthology Walk Right Back, making this a necessary purchase for Everlys fans. Listen album. Pop-Rock Country Music Rock 'n' Roll. The Everly Brothers. Although Williams held back the Everly masters for six years, 1970 saw the first in a flood of nostalgic reissues of the duo's Cadence recordings a trend which continues to this day. Nevertheless, these collections are simply a shuffling of the same forty songs the brothers cut for the label. Now, some twenty years later, Everly fans are once again allowed back into the archive to hear a newly unearthed set of working versions and musical sketches from that magical era. A very nice compilation of a lesser known period of The Everly Brothers. It's a collection of A's & B-sides of singles from a period of roughly 1965 until 1970 when real hits were getting elusive for the brothers. Because of the fact that most of the singles on this album were from 1968-1970 the compilation has a bit of a 'Roots' sound. The New Album: Previously Unreleased Songs From the Early Sixties. Certainly 'Lord Of The Manor' sounds like a genuine outtake from that album.
